I care about creating cards that people connect with, ones that feel relevant, uplifting and full of personality. I believe these are cards people want to give (and keep!).

I grew up in a village shop and we sold greeting cards, some of my fondest memories are of flicking through the card display, admiring all the different designs and what would catch my eye first (it wasn't the soppy, pastel coloured ones!). I especially enjoyed it when the card rep would come round to refresh the display (that was when Andrew Brownsword’s bear cards were the thing!). I suppose you could say cards have always been part of my world. That early experience taught me how important and helpful it is to find the card that says exactly what you feel, even when you can’t quite find the words yourself.
